Beginners course £45
Time 7.30-8.30pm
This includes a 45min lesson and 15mins freestyle.
We will run 8 week courses that will not only teach you the basic steps but will build to give you a routine that you can take to the dance floor. Each week we will re-cap on the previous week before adding the next stage.
The number of attendees on each course is limited and there will be an appropriate number of leaders and followers to ensure students are not stood out for any length of time. The cost of this course is £45 and places are only secured once all monies are paid. Places will be held on a first come first served basis.
Once dancers move from the Beginners class they normally enter Improvers classes. This is the biggest category of dancer in Bristol and it can be daunting to move up to classes where dancers may have been dancing for three years or more. Therefore, we will hold a "Jumpers" class.
Jumpers class £5 + Improvers £7
Time 8.30-9.30pm
This includes a 45min lesson and 15mins freestyle
This class will cater for those not yet ready to take that leap into the "Improvers" class.
Here the focus will be on technique and styling. We will look at what skills you have developed and what areas may need more attention. We will look at all the moves you have covered and maybe add a few others. This is a fun class that will bridge the gap to Improvers.
Improvers class £5
Time 9.30-10.45pm
This includes a 45min lesson and 30mins freestyle
This is an open class where different patterns of moves will be taught each week. Students will be expected to be competent in all the basic moves before entering this class.
This class, more than the others, will be upbeat and designed to both push and challenge you. The aim will be to enhance your abilities and widen your repertoire.
