Kidology and the fabulous Kidettes are packing up their DJ boxes and colourful attire to head back to Bristol for another night of hedonistic fun at the after hours venue, Upstairs.

In May earlier this year, Kidology stormed into Bristol for its debut outing and boy did it go down a storm: clubbers in the south west didn’t quite know where to look as the scantily clad Kidettes frolicked in Upstairs – the venue above The Slug and Lettuce - bringing with them their cheeky but welcoming behaviour to a brand new, up-for-it, crowd.

The demand was such that on Saturday 5th July, Kidology are ready, set and go to do it all again. With them they bring a style of funked-up, electro house and an ‘anything goes’ nature to its night.

Headlining the event is Kidology head Mark Wilkinson – a man who has played all over the globe, released chart topping singles under names such as Dab Hands, Problem Kidz, and Kidstuff, and most recently has breathed new life into clubland across the UK with his flamboyant club night.

Kidology resident Eddie Kid will also deliver the tunes – he’s been with Kidology since its days at the legendary Cross in London and has been a regular fixture on Kidology Records, releasing music with his ex-band member of The Streets, Leo The Lion.

Bringing his funky fuelled touch to the night is local man, Kid Royale, who has not only played alongside the industry’s biggest heavy weights such as Pete Heller, Danny Rampling, and Terry Farley, but he’s also got the local scene sown up through his regular appearances at Bristol’s leading house night ‘Funksta Boudoir’, making a perfect partner for Kidology on this night.

This year Kidology has been touring the country far and wide from Brighton, Glasgow and Southend to forthcoming parties in Birmingham, Cambridge and Perth – there’s really no stopping it. Kidology will also head for its first season in Ibiza, throwing monthly parties at Hotel Es Vive, and every Thursday at El Divino. If you’re out there this summer – make sure you get you toosh down!
