CONGO NATTY
★ The Godfather of Ragga Jungle spinning us a UK exclusive first insight into his forthcoming new releases. Congo Dubs on the wheels accompanied by Rebel MC and a load of special guests from his new album mean that there are going to be tunes played here that nobody outside of the Congo family have ever heard before, fresh from the press exclusives, BIG!

MARCUS INTALEX
★ Needing no introduction to any Drum & Bass Junglist out there Marcus has been shaping the future of 'intelligent' Jungle Drum & Bass since 1994. Many of his productions have pushed the boundaries of the genre to its most soulful extremes with more than one track truly shaping the sound of Drum and Bass for that era, see tracks like 'I like it' & 'How you make me feel' for examples of such groundbreakers. To say we're chuffed to have him play would be an understatement, this is going to go OFF!!

REMARC
★ A Jungle pioneer of the highest degree, strictly a behind the scenes player until recent times Remarc's productions are as old as the genre itself, his seminal track 'Ricky' sampled the nineties cult classic film Boyz in the Hood and offered a truly dark edge to the sound, a legend, a listen to any of his back catalogue tracks will tell you that.

ED SOLO & MC DET
★ A combo we've been wanting to put together for some time, Ed Solo the creator of so many tearing D&B tunes on the Undiluted label alongside MC Det one of the originals and still one of the best. Back in 2002 these two worked together to create the 'Jungle Owes me Money' EP, in our opinion it's still one of the best works produced by any Jungle MC, rolling basslines and lyrics to blow your mind, still a winner to mix over any heavy tearing D&B.. Booya!!!!

KROME & TIME
★ Well Krome & Time are just Krome & Time: 2 of the sickest amen producing muthafuckas to ever grace the rave scene, original pioneers of most of the underground genres their tunes are the ones that EVERYBODY loves, from hardcore to jungle. Without Krome & Time who knows where we'd be, it'd blatantly be crap

ROB SMITH
★ As part of Smith & Mighty it would be fair to say that Rob was one of the Bristol sound pioneers, his own sound mutated in sync with the local scenes to guide the sound of the city from Trip-Hop to Drum & Bass. a massive player on the scene back in the day his sets are lively, educated, unique and best of all danceable, get ready to shake!

STANZA
★ In comparison to most of our guests Stanza is definitely a youngun but we spotted his tendency to drop in the classics with style many years ago. As we like a classic here at champsound hq we've always been keen to get him back again and again, his recent mixing of the new Hospital Records compilation has led to him being more in demand than ever so he's getting harder to pin down as each event unfolds, all good though, this is just the beginning!

MC GQ
★ The partner in crime of the undisputed best Drum & Bass DJ in the world, that should say it all but you should know we like to go on a bit... There arent many events that GQ hasnt graced, big festivals, raves, radio shows, GQ's done them all with flair.. But theres one thing that will always be at the core of jungle: AWOL. Together with MC Fearless GQ was resident at the club event that made the world take notice of the sound and gave it the identity we know today, if you want to hear some of this then check the album recorded at the ministry back in 94: http://megaupload.com/?d=XJXTBZ4T
Don't tell em we told ya though!

MC FEARLESS
★ Whats left to be said about MC Fearless that hasnt been said before? The ravers love him, the DJs love him, even the security love him (most of the time!). The original fast chat Jungle MC with the lyrics that everybody knows the words to, a don, resident at AWOL and so many other legendary events, Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, One Nation.. Fearless works with the crowd and vibes off what they give to him, this is his first time at Champion Sound so lets show him what we've got.
