On Saturday 26th
July the doors of Digital in Brighton will once again be braced
against the onslaught of Hat clubbers preparing to descend upon it. With its
unique blend of cutting edge house and electro, Hat
Club has set the standard for music very high. Having travelled the brand all
over the world, both its experience and reputation speak for itself. From
breakfast trays to astronaut helmets, the hats keep getting better and the
crowds keep getting bigger.
Headlining at
Hat-Club’s bi-monthly shindig is one of the select few worthy to do so. Jonathan
Ulysses is a man synonymous with Ibiza, and has 10 seasons as a
resident at Space to prove it! Jon’s eclectic, up-tempo, driving brand
of electro has led him to sets in Amnesia, Eden, Es Paradis, Pacha and
Privilege; and has seen him play alongside names such as Tom Novy and Carl Cox.
Alongside
Jonathan is Brighton legend James Fitch. James is a force to be reckoned
with behind the decks, and has become a Hat Club regular. As one half of duo Prok
& Fitch, James will be fresh back from headlining in Ibiza, and will be
armed with a whole new arsenal of tunes. Prok & Fitch have an extensive portfolio both
behind the boards and the decks, with remix credits including two national top
10 hits in the last 6 months, working with artists such as Utah Saints,
Freemasons, Shamus Haji, Kraak & Smaak, Funkagenda, and Hoxton Whores.
Finishing off the bill are
three men who have rocked Hat Club from the beginning. DJ Roo, Henry Burrows
and Vince Frimpong will each bring their unique style of funky
jackin’ house to the dance floor and complete what is set to be a massive
night!
As a venue,
Digital continues to establish itself as a leader and impress the clubbers of
Brighton. With bookings such as Eric Pridz, Armand Van Helden and
David Guetta already under its belt, Digital has time and time again
proved itself as the ideal venue for Hat Club.
