Review of The End Of An Era...last night at The Dogs!
Brilliant night out. Two dance floors means 2 differing types of music so able to pick and choose which of the classics and rarities to dance to and a much better atmosphere than previous months. Constantly having to dance so stayed much later (and drank much less!) than planned as a result. We will miss it.

Review of The End Of An Era...last night at The Dogs!
The music was brilliant !!!! However it would have been lovely if there had been party poppers ,balloons etc etc and also some form of free refreshments which could have been given out to everyone as a huge Thankyou for their loyalty over the last 10 years , so i'm disappointed that didn't happen .
Review of New Years Eve with The Soul Survivors
i booked the tickets as when saw the flyer believing the soul survivors to be a band under the same name and it does make it seem that you have promoted it in a misleading way charging £18 basically to listen to soul music in a bar .
In future i think it would better to promote events in a truthful way .

Review of New Years Eve with The Soul Survivors
I have been to the New Years Eve party at this venue for some years but feel the music is not as good as it used to be. It is advertised as Soul & Motown but it was simply Disco with a few nondescript Motown hits thrown in. It was not just the music - it did not feel like a New Years Evening from the moment we arrived and were told it was only one room, no cloakroom, a few party poppers on the table and that was it. - there was just no buzz. I am afraid it has lost its appeal and spark. When it was held at The View last year the atmosphere was much better.

corals soul night
sorry to say that for the first time in years the night was "flat" atmosphere was quite and numbers were down.one bar has turned into more of a disco sound and the choices played are now repetitive. needs a jolt to freshen up.
