A weekend of live music, dance and family friendly fun!
Christchurch Festival is proud to announce the above dates for next years event.
This years festival was a huge success, raising £4000 for the Christchurch Parkinsons Society, Girl Guiding Twyham and Zoes Wish - despite ever rising costs. The festival began on Friday evening and continued through to Sunday evening providing a relaxed and family friendly environment in which people could unwind and enjoy the weekends diverse range of entertainment. This year we saw an eclectic mix of music as 16 bands take to the stage over the weekend to entertain an engaged audience. As well as music on the main stage, there were dance acts in Saxon Square and on the quay plus a vast array of culinary delights on the festival site.
Next years festival is set to be just as triumphant with the wheels of organization already in motion. Each year a whole host of volunteers, musicians and artists give their time and expertise free of charge to raise money for the Mayors nominated charities. One again there will be a wide selection of music and entertainment plus food & craft stalls and a licensed bar.
Christchurch Festival has secured its reputation as one of the highlights of the local community calendar and we would love for you to come and enjoy the festival in 2012. For full details please visit
