A Bolton Music Showcase 2008 event
This year's Bolton Music Showcase promises to feature the very best unsigned bands from a town with an impressive musical CV, plus artists, workshops, comedy, poetry, craft stalls and much more.
Now in its fifth year, the Bolton Music Showcase has developed a reputation for featuring the very best of Bolton's musical talent.
Last year's event saw hundreds of revellers brave the threat of rain to enjoy a line-up including Islands Lost At Sea, The Kiss Off, The Minions, To The Bones and Our Fold.
Since then, To The Bones have signed a deal with London label Org Records, and released their second single, Sharkies Bone Symphony, while Islands Lost At Sea have gone into the studio to record their debut album for cult Manchester label, Akoustik Anarkhy.
Stalls and activities around Leverhulme Park will keep every member of the family amused for the whole day.
Keep your eyes open too for all our lead-up events - they might occur when (and where) you least expect them!
