Often one of the highlights of the year, this is when crasher goes festive and returns to its routes. Whilst not the true trance feast of years gone by still a strong line up for a decent party, plus a first chance to check out the Gatecrasher Birmingham Venue. On arrival and check out great venue and average drinks prices mean the night starts good, line ups spread and as a preference for all things Trance find myself taking up residence in the back room for Jules & JFK who both play solid sets with the usual Classics dropped in by the later. This meaning that I totally missed the headlining act Mr Luke in the main room so would read other reviews for his set, other than to so passing through whilst he was on the room was packed and you could feel a lift in the atmosphere. I returned to the main room at the start of Paul Kelliw which personal was my set of night. After that on came Eddie to do his thing from my point of view one of his best this year (about the 15th time this year Ive seen him (fan yes!!!!)). Whilst closing duties went to Dash, This was probably were my biggest grumble sits. What was potentially the strongest Trance DJ on the line-up, why o why was he given just over 30 minutes? Whilst crasher events past and even the Gods down the road close at 6am the 5am finish and short set for me spilt the night. To be fair this is no reflection on Dash himself as I have since enjoyed him at Full on Ferry. Whilst I have previously enjoyed longer, faster harder white parties under the direction of Crasher/Gatecrasher this was probably the best way of spending Boxing Day, I enjoyed the venue and the sound system and am sure I will visit the club again in the future.

I lost every part of my fancy dress I went in, and lost my wallet. But what I DO remember was the music was amazing and so was the atmosphere! Eddie Halliwell was amazing as always and I can't wait to see him at this venue again this weekend :-)
