Lineup and details for An Evening with the humour of Bob Newhart & Tom Lehrer on Wednesday 12th October 2011
Well known jazz and rock n roll piano/vocalist Peter Gill and highly regarded fringe
actor Andrew Meller have joined forces to present a fabulous, new, 90 minute show dedicated to the satirical humour of American comic legends Bob Newhart and Tom Lehrer.
Originating from the 1950s and 1960s, audiences will once again be rolling around with laughter as they are reminded of Newharts Driving Instructor, Introducing Tobacco to Civilisation and USS Codfish; and Lehrers sharp witted songs Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, I Got it from Agnes and The Masochism Tango.This is a wonderfully entertaining and light-hearted evening of wit suitable for all of those with at least a modicum of a sense of humour.
