This event is a charity fund raiser for the CLIC Sargent childrens cancer charity and 100% of proceeds will be donated to them.
Hi, I’m Lewie,
At the end of January I was diagnosed as having a large Brain Tumor, which came totally out of the blue and was a shock to me and my family.
The tumor was removed on the 4th February, the day after my 15th birthday.
Although the operation was a success, the tumor was identified as being a Medulloblastoma, this is a malignant cancer, which has also now spread to my spine.
I am now undergoing a course of Chemotherapy, and Radiotherapy.
CLIC Sargent is the UKs leading children’s cancer charity, supporting children, young people and their families through cancer every step of the way, providing: nurses, social workers, play therapists, home from home, research, financial support and advice, much needed holidays.
I have picked this charity as it has been providing me with a great deal of support and it provides essential support to families especially when the child spends a lot of time in hospital.
