2012 and we're back providing the freshest line-ups in the West Midlands and the most memorable nights out on the party circuit! On Saturday 25th Feb we are taking over The hmv Institute bringing 5 rooms of music madness and other antics to keep you dancing til 6AM. Headlining proceedings is the Birmingham debut of Pendulum's new project KNIFE PARTY! Currently riding at a respectable number 4 in the UK charts with "Antidote" co-produced by the Swedish House Mafia, the buzz about Knife Party is unprecedented. A more electro and house based focus from Rob and Gaz, whilst maintaining a dubstep and bass sensibility with epic production values. BIG!
Joining the top of the bill and making his Ec-lectricity debut is Radio 1's chief party protagonist ZANE LOWE. Much like our music policy, Zane's sets see no boundaries as he cuts between genres like a knife through butter! If it's good and gets the party started he plays it - simples!
Mercury Music Award Winner and garage legend, recently crowned queen of the recent UK Bass movement, MS DYNAMITE, also features. Widely known for her seminal urban classics as well as collaborating with the likes of Katy B, Zinc, Redlight, Shy FX, Skream and others.... when Ms Dynamite's in the building the night always goes off with a BANG!
Radio 1 Xtra's big chief MISTAJAM joins an already absolute stonker of a bill! Whether filling in for daytime shows on Radio 1 or destroying an underground dance floor, as the name suggests, this guy is JAM HOT! His daily dose of dubstep has become a key feature for all radio lovers out there, fronting some of the biggest concepts in recent dance music history, like Nero's performance with the London Philharmonic Orchestra last year.
Everyone's favourite Israeli, dubstep legend, BORGORE, brings his extreme take on bass heavy flavours to the fore for those who like to have their faces melted by the nastier edge of electronica! Expect mosh pits and generally crazy behaviour from one of the biggest names on the block.
We are also pleased to welcome back YASMIN, who'll be bringing her light hearted party flavours to the table. Having collaborated with the likes of Chase & Status, Devlin, Ms Dynamite and Shy FX not to mention her own productions, Yasmin is most definitely one to watch in 2012.
In addition to an already cracking evening we are proud to be showcasing the prime cuts of the Midlands talent pool, covering every single musical base out there! PLUS lots of interactive sideshows, such as the Headphone Disco, Karaoke and the return of our infamous Open Decks room. Get involved!
Expect a wide range of music, crisp sound, huge production, visual and lighting effects and thousands of like minded people!
