Lineup and details for Saying the Unsayable on Saturday 4th July 2009
A three day exhibition of photography and streaming visuals produced by 11 West Midlands community groups, ranging from young people with special needs and A-level art students to carers and older people.
The 100 images explore six themes linked to living, dying and death including: Remembering and Continuity, Living Life Well and West Midlands Connections - Decay, Regeneration and Renewal.
Ceremonial arts organisation, ONCE, will also offer attendees the opportunity to participate in interactive spontaneous workshops addressing the exhibition’s key issues.
The exhibition is the result of a community arts project commissioned by NHS West Midlands to provide a safe outlet through which to explore this often ignored topic and open a dialogue about the complete journey of life.
