The latest installment from the Levi’s® OnesToWatch® tour has an eclectic mix for May, with the much hyped, Late of the Pier headlining, and support from The Displacements and Collapsing Cities. Dark, chaotic and hedonistic, Late Of The Pier burst onto the scene with show stealing performances at last year’s Underage, Reading and Leeds festivals. With their unique fix of fizzing analogue, and digital synths, their sound has been compared to Brian Eno, Gary Numan and Klaxons, and has already earned them the coveted “single of the week” from NME for their last single, Bathroom Gurgle. www.myspace.com/lateofthepier In support are Leicester four piece, The Displacements, who’s second single Lazy bones was released on Stiff Records in December. They have been likened to The Who, The Delays, and The Kinks, thanks to their energetic guitar riffs, catchy choruses and dark, pounding drums.
