Neptune Project was formed in 2007 after best friends, Dan and Jules had spent several years enjoying the club scene of the UK, regularly visiting renowned clubs such as The Gallery at Turnmills, Godskitchen, Birmingham and Gatecrasher in Sheffield. The feeling of hearing their favourite tracks inspired them to begin producing themselves. After investing in studio equipment and receiving frequent guidance and encouragement from friends Aly and Fila and Jono Grant (Above and Beyond), Neptune Projects first single was a collaboration with fellow Swindon producer Greg Spencer under his Triple Seven alias. The track was called Arctic Moment, signed to Breeze Recordings in Germany and featured a remix from Activa, the track found the playlist of Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and was shortlisted for Paul Van Dyks Cream Ibiza compilation as well as receiving heavy support from Van Dyk himself and many other DJs during the summer of 2008.

After the success of Arctic Moment, Neptune Project teamed with Triple Seven under the one name of Neptune Project & were given the opportunity to remix a massive club hit from 1999, Mike Koglins The Silence, which was originally a cover of Depeche Modes Enjoy the Silence. Koglin was so impressed with the remix, that he signed it to his label Noys and re-released it. The track appeared on the Ministry of Sound Cream Ibiza Anthems alongside many classics that the duo had been listening to for many years before.

The success of the remix allowed the duo to again remix for Koglin, this time on his collaboration with Above and Beyonds Paavo, on their track, Autumn, which was released on Anjunabeats in winter 2009. Shortly after this remix, due to personal commitments Greg Spencer left the project & the project continued with Dan & Jules producing.

With remix work also completed for Monster Tunes and Armada, Neptune Project began focusing on original material and in January 2010, they collaborated with another local producer, Luke Bond, on their third single, Atlantis, featuring vocals from school friend, Polly Strange, who featured on Aztec. The track was signed to Future Sound of Egypt Recordings and has been tipped as one of the tunes of the summer by label owners, Aly and Fila.

Due to the success of their modern take of The Silence, the duo took it upon themselves to remix a few of their favourite classics with emphasis on tracks that have not already been remixed to death. After receiving permission from Goldenscan to officially remix their classic Sunrise, Neptune Project worked hard in the studio for many hours and upon delivery of the final mix, they received the word bomb as a reply from Goldenscan and Aly and Fila, who signed the track and is due for re-release later this year on Future Sound of Egypt.

With these growing accomplishments, Neptune Project has had recent interest in collaborations with proven artists such as John OCallaghan, Simon Patterson and close friends, Aly and Fila. They have had no shortage of remix requests and two new productions are close to completion, with a special remix of the amazing AccadiaBlind visions also forthcoming. The duo have already begun their DJ career with gigs in Germany and the UK and look set to continue with more bookings lined up.

Davey Asprey:

With a career that is going from strength to strength - this 24-year-old DJ/producer is making it his mission to leave a stamp on the dance music scene.

Hailing from a humble background in Walsall, a small town in the West Midlands, Davey began his love affair with music after hearing his mums Acid House as a child.

He developed his passion for Trance after his first visit to the White Isle of Ibiza in 2005. That year he saw his hero, Eddie Halliwell, play at Amnesia.

I was a big fan of mix sets, even before I had seen him play. His energy and showmanship is amazing.

Soon after returning from Ibiza, Davey purchased his first set of decks, and took the first step towards his DJing dream.

After a year of practice, he landed his first gig at Nailed, in Leicester. Since then he has been gathering friends in high places and now boasts appearances alongside the legend that is Judge Jules, as well as a series of other big names in the industry; including Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Calvin Harris, Gareth Emery, Richard Durand and not forgetting the man that influenced him to live his dream Eddie Halliwell.

A definite highlight in Daveys career came in 2008, just three years after starting out, when he was asked to perform at the venue to end all venues Eden, for Judgment Sundays. Ibiza being Mecca for aspiring DJs, this was his most prestigious event so far. (To see an interview of Davey at Judgment Sundays, hit this link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndWfOITxWXE).

After making his Ibiza debut he has gone from strength to strength, securing gigs at Cream, Goodgreef, Gatecrasher, Passion and Ministry of Sound London. He has now found success in clubs all over Europe, and party-goers are eager for more.

New Years Eve 2009 saw Davey saying goodbye to the Noughties in style, playing his biggest event to date, as he took to the decks in the Goodgreef arena at the New Years Eve Slammin Vinyl event - a night which played host to some 13,000 clubbers.

He used this opportunity to showcase his first endeavour in music production, his debut track The Glitch (http://beatport.com/s/r137Mt), which he created under the guidance of producer, Steve Allen.

Steve booked me in to play at Excessive Pressure, at Audio in Leicester, and after seeing me play he took me aside and offered me a residency as well as the opportunity to collaborate with him in the studio.

Since then, Davey has produced a series of other tracks, including Mindless (http://beatport.com/s/r1ct6t), The Devil You Know (http://beatport.com/s/r17oot) and Ogre (http://beatport.com/s/r1iN5f) and has received amazing feedback.

His tracks have now been played by DJs such as Armin Van Buuren and Paul Oakenfold and have appeared on compilations such as Best of Trance 2010 (Attention Germany), The Ultimate Progressive Collection Vol.1 and Trance: Ibiza Anthems 2010.

After an exhausting and exhilarating year, Davey said goodbye to 2010 and hello to 2011 by playing at Passion alongside Sander Van Doorn. A night which he claims is one of the best New Years he has ever celebrated.

The line-up was amazing, by far one of the best Ive seen for a single club. The atmosphere was electric.

So now, with plans to release new track, Jilted Perspective, at the beginning of 2011, Davey is hoping that the feedback he has received from his previous tracks will help make this the best one yet.
As well as the release, he has some more high-profile gigs lined up, so if you havent heard of Davey Asprey yet, heed Judge Jules words and keep an eye out for this fella!
You heard the man.

AlphaDuo:

The Trance industry has seen many greats through the years that have produced tracks that are remembered by every faithful follower of such a diverse music scene.
2008 was the birth of a partnership between two dedicated best friends in the pursuit of musical bliss. Andy & Shane have been avid followers of the Trance & Dance music scene for many years, they decided it was time to collaborate into a production and DJ partnership that would hopefully send shockwaves around the world.
After spending endless hours in the studio learning the skills necessary to take their ambitions to the next level Andy & Shane released: Towards The Lights A very uplifting track with a huge build and punchy bassline that got some excellent feedback.
Call it what you will...this gave the English & Welsh born duo the encouragement needed to push on and gain the grade needed to really make a stamp on such a tough industry to get recognition from.
...Alpha Duos sudden rise and enthusiasm for trance is certainly putting them in a good position to break through the boundaries to push their Euphoric, uplifting sounds to the audiences that have grown to love them over the years.
July 2009 saw the release of Beautiful Dream, a collaboration with good friend and superb sound engineer James Kitcher and the multi talented Angelic voice of Emma Lock.
The track gained a respectable 51st place in the Beat Port & Track it down charts.
Beautiful Dream was played on A State Of Trance by the worlds number 1 DJ and respected artist Armin Van Buuren and in addition was supported by the Djing Worlds elite.
A long list of artists from Tiesto, Aly & Fila to Armin gave the work a big thumbs up which really did push the guys in the right direction.
Alpha Duo are now in double figures in terms of releases and are forever trying to get to the next stage.....consistently chasing the dream.
2011 has seen the pair work with many established vocalists and performers, such as Julie Harrington & Emma Lock to name a few.
A track you definitely will remember is Atlantis-Fiji Andy & Shane are delighted to announce that after being approached for the project they have just completed the Official 2011 remix of this Trance master piece which is due to go out for promo at the end of August for release mid-late September 2011.
Energize:
Alpha Duo are definitely artists you need to see to really appreciate the desire and enthusiasm and of course the love they share for Trance, when playing to audiences they really do come alive!
The sets are full of bags of energy, smiles, Euphoric uplifting beats that will tantalise the most stubborn of taste buds anywhere.
Alpha Duo are currently looking to secure a permanent residency to push their sounds onto the next level
