At The Gallery Club, Bedford
For almost 20 years between 1960 and 1979, the California Ballroom, Dunstable was the largest venue for entertainment in the South East of England. It played host to all the bands you've heard of and many that you haven't. On 13th September 2008, The California Ballroom Roadshow comes back to Bedford at The Gallery Bar Club in Silver Street with original Cali DJ's Paul Gray 1971-78 now with Black Cat Radio and very special guest DJ Rob James & Terry Oliver to remember the Classic Soul, Motown, Funk and Disco hits that were played at this unique venue.
