Appalachian hell raisers Hayseed Dixie, have announced they will be hitting these shores again to tour in February and March 2010, and invite you to join them getting stark-raving plastered as they rock out in their own unique and inimitable way. Since forming in the Fall of 2000, the band has performed over 1,000 live shows in 21 different countries.

Hayseed Dixie are currently recording their new studio album in Nashville, TN, which is due for release in February 2010.   The album, which will feature more songs about killin’, drinkin’, cheatin’ and hell, will contain some unexpected cover versions alongside the bands own material.

Ladies in feathers and a banjo! What more could you possibly need?!

The music is bouncy banjo-driven hoedown-ska, with a touch of Klezmer, rock-a-billy and even a nod towards dub and Lilly Allen. Having often played with the likes of The Wurzels & Pronghorn, as well as regularly headlining gigs in their own right, Boot Hill spent 2009 playing festivals up and down the country, from Derbyshire ( Bearded Theory) to Dorset ( Endorse it in Dorset, Wimborne etc). 2010 already sees summer festival bookings coming in festivals including interest from Glastonbury.

On March 10th The Boot Hill All Stars are bringing their full show back to Bath in support of Hayseed Dixie. Expect a hi-octane, cider fuelled set. Delightful accompaniment comes from The Fluffettes, those raunchy feather-clad ladies who provide backing vocals and more than a little audience participation.
