Description of English's of Brighton
One of the oldest restaurants in the country, English's of Brighton has been serving fresh local seafood dishes from its site in the famous Lanes for more than 150 years. Originally three fishermen's cottages, the quirky restaurant is split between a buzzy ground floor oyster bar, the intimate main dining room with its plush velvet décor and vibrant murals, and three interconnecting rooms which are available for private dining. A heated outdoor terrace is perfect for summer dining, with regular live jazz and opera.
