The first Lagoon opened in Kenilworth in November 1998 and within 18 months it was amongst the Good Curry Guide's Top 100 restaurants in the UK. By 2003 Coconut Lagoon restaurants had risen the award ranks to be one of the top five Indian restaurants in the country. This is the latest addition to the vibrant group, recently opened in Birmingham's Bennetts Hill, bringing with it the varied cuisine of Kerala, Goa, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh under one roof.
