It is true 'haute cuisine' so if you're after something strong and simple, go somewhere else. Excellent variety of dishes, each a little masterpiece. Portion sizes are small and the dishes aren't cheap, so go here for a special occasion rather than to grab a quick bite. Fantastic service, too. Strongly recommend. | ||||||||||||||||||

| shirley fisher | Review of Michael Caines at ABode Manchester Overall rating:  The menu was classed as a 5 course 'grazing' lunch- portion sizes tiny wouldnt recommend going there hungry-- quality of the food difficult to determine due to very small quantities - one course 'pidgeon' the meat was served 'raw' which was offputting as not expected. Overall lovely restaurant, good service but not what we expected so feel rather let down. | ||||||||||||||||||
