Description of TNQ
TNQ set the standard by creating seasonal, affordable, classic gourmet dishes & homemade desserts. Using only the finest ingredients the North West & the British Isles has to offer and infused with flavours of the Med and beyond, dishes are prepared daily by head chef, Anthony Fielden.
TNQ is a thriving, independent neighbourhood restaurant, set in Manchester's vibrant Northern Quarter, showcasing a true taste of Manchester by offering visitors honest 'Northern Soul' food, superb wines & stellar service.
Once a storage warehouse for the old Smithfield fish markets, TNQ is now a humble modern dining room with rustic wooden floors & floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the Grade I-listed Smithfield fish market facade.
TNQ offers lunch and a la carte menu options, alongside a full bar menu of wines, cocktails and rich coffees. TNQ is the perfect location to relax & read the Sunday papers whilst enjoying the great British tradition of Sunday lunch; a host of succulent meats are served with all the trimmings, as well as fresh fish and vegetarian options.
The Northern Quarter Restaurant and Bar is within 10 minutes walking distance of Victoria and Piccadilly train stations, and a 3-minute walk from Shudehill tram station.
