Description of Truckles
One of Davy's traditional style ale and port houses, Truckles of Pied Bull Yard is conveniently close to Holborn and Tottenham Court Road Underground stations and a splendid choice for celebrating any special occasion, such as birthday parties and wedding receptions. The candlelit tables, traditional British meals, daily hot and cold bar snack menu and, of course, the extensive list of fine wines also make Truckles an enticing place for any formal or informal lunches and dinners. Should you wish to smoke, a covered, heated area is available in the courtyard. You are invited to enjoy a glass of wine from the extensive range of Davy's Own Label quality house wines, or perhaps you would prefer a pint of Davy's Old Wallop, served in an old fashioned pewter tankard, or even a half-gallon copper jug. The cellar also presents a selection of other wines to tempt you further.
