Owner Huseyin Ozer opened his first Sofra restaurant in Mayfair nearly thirty years ago and has developed a solid reputation as a purveyor of fine Turkish food from attractive, up-market premises. Sofra & Sade in Exmouth Market continues the tradition with a stunning menu from head chef Adem Salci. The menu is a mix of modern and traditional Turkish cuisine; the meze comprises both hot and cold dishes that serve as an introduction to his style of cooking, before you move on to main courses such as stewed lamb or chicken cooked in a tomato sauce served on smoked aubergine and nuts (fistikili kebabi) or tokat doma - vine keaves stuffed with mince lamb, rice and dill.
