Description of Silk
Set within the stately Grade II listed exterior of the five-star Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton Hotel at the heart of bustling Soho, Silk is a luxurious fine dining restaurant awarded as a Michelin Recommended Restaurant since 2008 in a central London location, just opposite Liberty's on Great Marlborough Street. Formerly a courthouse, the warm oak-panelled interior with its vaulted glass ceiling still preserves its original legal furniture, including benches for the judge and jury and a witness stand. Just two minutes away from Oxford Circus tube station, you can enjoy an innovative fusion menu drawing on Asian cuisine from locations along the historical Silk Road, with a selection of mezze for lighter meals. Follow the culinary silk route through Italy, the Middle East and Asia, savouring specialities from the various cuisines of the continents with a la carte and tasting menus, as well as the specially selected Silk menu.
