Description of My Old Dutch - Kensington

The original pancake house that started the My Old Dutch chain was founded in London's West End in 1958. The latest addition to the family is the Kensington branch, which continues the successful formula of serving sweet and savoury pancakes as well as a selection of salads and Dutch starters and desserts. The child-friendly restaurant is decorated in warm and inviting tones, offering a large selection of beers for the grown-ups and milkshakes and smoothies for younger diners. Starters include herring with beetroot and gherkins and meatballs with mustard sauce, while the pancakes can include a variety of fillings such as lamb stew, chicken curry and a selection of seafood. Three courses cost an average of £20 per person - a real bargain, especially if you're 'going Dutch'!
