Description of Denise's
Well-known for its cheerful welcome and feel-good French cooking, Denise's has been a Bloomsbury institution since 1989. The cosy, unstuffy décor adds a homely touch, while a traditional menu of fish, grills and pasta is joined by flamboyant specials such as sea bass flambéed with Pernod or fillet of duck cooked in cherry and Kirsch sauce. The wine list has strong Gallic undertones, bolstered by cocktails, dessert wines and aperitifs.
