Description of City Boot
Close to the Barbican, on the walkway above Moorgate Underground station, the City Boot is a traditional wine bar from Davy's of London. A light and airy place, it serves a good range of well-filled sandwiches, pates, and cheeses. With charming and attentive service, the dining room also provides more substantial typically English fare. The City Boot has an excellent wine list, including a fine range of Davy's own label house wines. A splendid range of champagne is always available, as are a number of vintage Ports, which are decanted daily and available by the bottle or glass. You can also choose from an additional selection of fine wines from the cellar and the City Boot makes an ideal setting for private parties in the evening, accommodating up to 100 people.
