 zarini Offline Points:20 Posts: 1 | Review of Prezzo - Eastleigh Overall rating:  Just returned from Prezzo in Eastleigh and realised what of waste of time and money as we could have had a far better dinner somewhere else. Had to wait 20 minutes for a booked table. Ordered SPAGHETTI WITH MEATBALLS - when it arrived it didn't look pleasant and tasted vile, lack of any sauce and under-cooked meatballs which didn't taste of meat at all and were not edible. Having called the waiter these were taken away and replaced by TRADITIONAL LASAGNE. This arrived full of oil with a consistency of something like cat food and tasted like boiled spam. My husband ordered POLLO SICILIANA which was terribly overcooked and dry. No one from our party of six was impressed by the quality of food. This chain of restaurants markets itself as Italian - no way ! Quick poor quality food at restaurant prices. Not recommend to anyone! | ||||||||||||||||||

I went with my daughter and son in law this evening., I had ordered the oven cooked chicken wings in rosemary and sea salt which came out swimming in fat so was sent back to the kitchen. We were being stared at by the chefs and they kept laughing when the mains came out. I had ordered goats cheese salad which the chefs clearly did something to as they were staring at me while I ate it and smirking which made me feel very uncomfortable, I realised the salad was drowning in balsamic vinegar and I dread to think what else they had done to it, after two mouthfuls I couldn't eat it due to the vinegar. I asked for the manager and explained the situation an she wouldn't listen by this time the chefs were looking and laughing. I still don't know what they did I the salad but my family and I refused to pay and left the restraunt in the middle of our mains. Will never ever go back to a prezzos - such poor customer service and disgusting that they will do stuff to your food if you complain!! | ||||||||||||||||||

I found it too noisy and my meal was not very hot the staff seemed rushed off their feet. I probably would not go back again nor recommend it to a friend. | ||||||||||||||||||

We waited 45 minutes after ordering for our starter, and another half an hour after finishing that for our main courses. Dessert came relatively quickly. The problem was not with the waiting staff but the time our food took to come out of the kitchen, I believe. Our meals were not complex. We arrived at 8:10 and left at 10:45. It's not very often I don't leave a tip and this was one of those rare occasions. | ||||||||||||||||||

The only issue I had was my pizza wasn't very nice (very dry and quite tastless), considering the price I expected better quality, but that most probably was a one-off and wont stop me going again. Plus the dessert was very nice, it definantly made up for the pizza :) | ||||||||||||||||||

| Andrew Potter | Review of Prezzo - Eastleigh Overall rating:  We arrived for lunch with a diner in a power wheelchair and a large pram with a newborn baby and were greeted with smiles and quickly led to an ideal table. Very nice inside with a nice atmosphere which hide the location on an odd corner of the Swan centre well. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was superb. Will be going back. | ||||||||||||||||||
