Description of 99 Station Street
Burton-on-Trent is home to one of Staffordshire's finest eateries, 99 Station Street. This award-winning modern British brasserie opened in 2008 to critical acclaim. By the end of that year, they had been awarded Best Newcomer in the Taste of Staffordshire Awards. In 2009 they also went on to become only one of four places listed for the county in the Good Food Guide.
The key to their success is a driven passion for the sourcing of excellent local ingredients. Combined with constant refinement to their seasonal menu, it adds up to an award-winning formula. A lot of time is spent getting to know some great local producers and taking advice from them on how to get the best from their ingredients. It's all about putting the Great back into British food.
