Tom | Review of The River Grille at The Bristol Hotel Overall rating: ![]() Great food at a reasonable price. Service was good but too fast; got our mains immediately after the first course.

Howard Parker | Review of The River Grille at The Bristol Hotel Overall rating: ![]() Great views, nice food, good service (almost too quick but that may have been due to it being New Year's Eve) wine was very pricey but nice. We'll be going again.

Chelsea | Review of The River Grille at The Bristol Hotel Overall rating: ![]() I had a three course meal starting with whitebait which was beautifully presented and cooked, followed by steak frite with a peppercorn sauce, once again delicious although the steak portion was thin and small. For dessert i had baked brie which was measly and disappointing. Looking around other tables I think I may have made the wrong selection for dessert and main. The atmosphere was pleasant, not very full at 8:15. We were placed awkwardly with waiters passing either side of us frequently and the proximity of other tables took away privacy. Don't get me wrong the over all experience was pleasant. Quick service, 3 courses for 25 pound, larger is cheap but stay away from the 22 pound a bottle wine! I wouldn't say this is a restaurant I would frequently go to but for a quick maybe pre theatre dinner it is suitable.
