Description of The Old Tramshed
Within the idyllic village of Saltaire, The Old Tramshed presents a rustic eatery, filled with warm wood panelling and comfy sofas. Offsetting the cosy interior, a robust array of flavours are presented on The Old Tramshed menu, with a devotion to locally sourced ingredients and honest cooking methods. From the farmer who rears award-winning pigs to the local guy without a website who sources amazing cheeses from all over the world; all the food is sourced locally wherever possible.
The chefs prepare simple yet delicious dishes with enthusiasm and imagination ? from Nidderdale lamb shank or sweet pepper & goat's cheese spring roll to our selection of salads & risottos, not to mention the grill items. The sharing platters are perfect for a nibble with friends, or as a lush starter to share, there are innovative vegetarian & gluten free options to try, as well as a selection of tasty dishes with less calories (guilt free gastro). The specials boards change every week, offering even more choice for the discerning palette.
