Best ever clubbing experience?
There have been a fair few (occupational hazzard!) - The early Warehouse Projects were amazing with the mix of live music and DJs (and portaloos..), Sankeys reopening when I met my Fiancée, TimeWarp this year with an epic 8 hour set by Laurent Garnier.
Funniest Festival tale?
Eating a 'muffin' at the first Wickerman Festival I went to. Running around like a lunatic then falling asleep for 5 hours behind the decks right beside the monitors. Aparently the muffin had special ingredients - I was a little naive..
What's so great about Skiddle?
We have fantastic staff that are very enthuesiastic about their jobs, work with some great promoters across the UK and have some very loyal customers. We try to stay one step ahead and bring our promoter's some fantastic

Give one of our account managers a call. They are very experienced and know how to get the most out of Skiddle (and their advice is free!)
My last rights meal would be...
Sausage and Mash, with nice thick onion gravy
Favourite Festival
That's a difficult one. On a large scale I'd say Glastonbury - it's so much more than a festival. On a smaller scale, Wickerman or Belladrum - amazing festivals with a fantastic atmosphere (and tickets available from Skiddle...)
If you see me at the bar, buy me a...
Jamesons and Ginger or a pint of Cider please!

Freeze - clubbing in the most stunning cathedral in Liverpool. Incredible sound system and lighting displays, top notch house music. Literally nothing compares, dancing away then every 5 minutes finding yourself staring at the enormous stained glass windows and ornate pillars around you. Breathtaking!
Funniest Festival tale?
Katherine Warburton (senior account manager at Skiddle!) went to Global Gathering, and managed to avoid seeing ANY DJs. That’s right, there the whole weekend, and saw...no one.
What's so great about Skiddle?

Best ever clubbing experience?
The first Digital Society I went to in Leeds with John O'Callaghan. Intimate venue (in was still at MyHouse), unbeatable crowd, ridiculously good music and no ego from the DJ's they were part of the crowd, wandering through and happily talking to you at the side of the DJ booth. All the DS's I've been to since have been good but I had never experienced anything like it when I went the first time. Unreal!
What's so great about Skiddle?
The staff. We have experience in both attending the events as well as promoting events, we are always more than willing to share this experience with you whether you are a customer buying tickets or a promoter organising a massive event.
Desert Island Discs - top tunes?

Blink 182 - Carousel
John O'Callaghan feat Audrey Gallagher - Big Sky (Agnelli and Nelson remix)
Arcade Fire - Rebellion (Lies)
Paul Simon - Graceland
The Chemical Brothers - Golden Path

Best ever clubbing experience?
Probably the first time I ever went to the Warehouse Project. I was a bit of a latecomer to it and didn't pop my WHP cherry until 2007, but I was blown away. Hot Chip, New Young Pony Club, Foals and loads more were playing and I just remember dancing for hours down at the front. Andrew Weatherall at Electric Elephant this year was magical too, and Metro Area at The Weekend Club in Berlin was immense.
Funniest Festival tale?
What happens at festival stays at festival.
What's so great about Skiddle?
What isn't? It's a brilliant company - both to work for and from a customer perspective.
Desert Island Discs - top tunes?
Morecombe and Wise - Bring me Sunshine
Nick Drake - Time has Told Me
Ryan Adams - La Cienega Just Smiled
The Shins - Mines not a High Horse
Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road
Elbow - Station Approach (to remind me of home)

Building awareness through news articles, features, interviews with artists you've got playing, that sort of thing. It really helps to give customers a flavour of what you're about and helps increase awareness of your brand and event. Get in touch and I'll be happy to help you promote your event editorially.
My last rights meal would be...
A huge Mexican feast with all the accompaniments. And lots of Tequila.

Kendal Calling. Sadly I missed it this year because of a family commitment but I’ve been every year since it started and it just gets better and better.

Best ever clubbing experience?
There's been loads, my first time at Gatecrasher just blew my mind, the Republic was such an awesome club, also the last night they had before it burnt down, Paul van Dyk playing a 6 hour set, pretty fitting he should be the last DJ to play there.
Funniest Festival tale?
Hmm tough one, probably the one that involves Ben (our director) and a muffin (may have been a brownie) at Wickerman Festival

Do some! I've known people put on events and just expected people to turn up - no need to say it turned into an epic failure! With social media, there are so many opportunities now to get your event out there, and with Skiddle's new promotion centre you'll be able to manage it all in one place.
My last rights meal would be...
Good ol' fish supper

Gatecrasher Summer Sound System was always a good shindig, but I suppose now it would have to be The Wickerman as I actually get to play there. The production / setup in the Skiddle tent is brilliant and the crowds are always up for a party.

Johnny Cash, James Brown, Paul van Dyk, Matt Hardwick, John 00 Fleming, Hernan Cattaneo
