mute! presents East End Dubs & System 2

mute! welcome East End Dubs and System 2 to their Funktion One powered home, South, on Friday 11th July. 

Since their inception into the scene in 2011, mute! have continued to deliver consistently good line ups. They strive to, and succeed in creating a family vibe without the gimmicks or frills. 

mute! is housed in South in Manchester. Holding the title of Manchester's original basement dive club, South effortlessly caters to the needs of local ravers. A small capacity venue, with a colossal sound system and an incomparable underground atmosphere, it's no surprise that discerning club nights desire to set up camp there.  

Headlining the event is Moon Harbour signed East End Dubs. The London based producer has branded himself apart from other artists with his distinguishable deep and dark house music. He's received big support from the likes of tINI, Hector and Subb-An amongst a wealth of others. 

Joining him on the night will be Manchester based tech house duo System2. Now signed to Steve Lawler's VIVa Warriors imprint, Tez Hurst and Danny Hevingham have already enjoyed past successes on labels like Cecille, Get Physical, PIAS and Nervous, showing that they are no strangers to the scene.

Their refusal to be pigeonholed into any particular style has seen the duo lauded by everyone from the Apollonia crew to Hot Creations stalwarts Jamie Jones and Richy Ahmed. Expect big things.
