It’s exciting going off to University. New people, new experiences, new everything, and as we’ve pointed out in the insiders guides we’ve done so far, plenty more to find out about regardless of how much time you’ve previously spent in a city. For even the most intense of courses you’re likely to have an abundance of free time you’ll never experience to quite the same levels once you hit the ‘real’ world, so now is the time to capitalise on the chance to do something new and exciting.

Our what’s on guides is rammed full of things to do of course, but we decided to team up with the good people at TasterLab to offer you the chance to do much more than experience the kind of weekend frivolity we specialise in. They’re a company that offer you the chance to experience a taster of differing experiences, everything from playing golf and clay pigeon shooting up to fitness boot camps and music production, if you fancy something but simply want to get a quick flavour of what it’s about before committing, then these are the guys for you.

We’re offering one of you to get the chance to get four introductory tasters courtesy of the company. The prize includes three getting out there experiences, with a three hour intro to kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling taster and a two hour scuba diving session as well. On top of that you can have a wine tasting session at your home for up to four guests. Please note all these prizes are based in Manchester so realistically you will need to live there or be able to travel around the city for all four prizes – the wine tasting experience is at home
