Have you sorted your Bank Holiday plans yet? The upcoming three day weekend is arguably the biggest of the year, the one that lands at the end point for many people's summer.

If you're still stuck for an option and England's sumptuous South East is within reach, then the Social Food Festival could be exactly what you're looking for. The event covers the entire Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday 23rd to Sunday 24th August (both days 11am-9pm), celebrating culinary excellence at Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent.

Thousands of people will be making the most of the esculent eateries, specialist drinks and live entertainment, with the family friendly festival clocking in at just £6 a head per day if bought in advance - head here or follow the ticket link at the bottom.

A Chef’s Theatre will showcase the fine art of cooking, the Drink’s Village boasting a litany of locally brewed Ales, Ciders and three of the region's finest restaurants will be providing pop ups to emblazon their repertoire, with live music also on hand.

To top off that they'll be appearances from two celebrities off the BBC's much loved Masterchef and Great British Bake Off shows in tow, and if you know who they are you could be in with a chance of winning our competition for the festival.
