This northern promotion has a dedicated following - and have had for two years – so Filth only thought it right to give their rave disciples what they’ve been asking for...Boxing Day 2009 will see Switch take to the hallowed Mint booth for the first time.
Switch (aka Dave Taylor, tech thumper Solid Groove and one half of bass bothering duo Major Lazor) has only played a small handful of UK gigs this year, so it’s no wonder he’s been Filth’s main target for 2 long years. Mixing up house, electro, techno and literally everything in between, Switch smashes through the tracks he mixes, chopping and changing the genres as he goes, but always leaves a lingering sense of jack in his wake.
There’ll be no less jack from Lee Mortimer, either. He’s a man whose unique take on bass heavy house and electro has kept atop the pile of breakthrough producers in the last couple of years, and has seen him release on labels like Warehouse and Venga. As always, residents Aspin & Dipace, Eddi Zanetti and Gav Bailey do what they know best, working the crowd they no inside out like no other DJs could.
