Following a sold out date next month, Whitney will play a second gig in Manchester at Gorilla on Tuesday 8th November.
Formed between two former members of Smith Westerns and various others, the band have released a trio of melancholic singles in 'Golden Day', 'No Matter Where We Go' (watch below) and 'No Woman'.
While the lyrics evoke feelings of sadness, beauty can be found in the buoyant sun-down melodies and sparse psychedelic textures that breezily cleanse the ear.
They release their debut album Light Upon The Lake in early June and bring it to life with six musicians mapped out on the live stage.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday 26th May at 9am via the box below.
