The weekend is nearly upon us, and right now that means podcast time. We're rapidly approaching two years of the fortnightly dosage of aural hedonism and we've got a few tricks up our sleeve to celebrate. This edition comes though int he tried and tested formula, with the event focus resting squarely on the delightful Speakerbox.

Mistajam's bass driven extravaganza has had a fast and furious four years at the apex of the events industry, circumventing the full spectrum of electronic music dominated by the low end. Dubstep, drum & bass, future garage... the lot are all represented in a true representation of the sounds he pushes on his 1Xtra Radio show.

This event continues that rich vein, done in conjunction with the consistently excellent London Warehouse Events team. Mistajam joined by the indomitable DJ Fresh, UK Garage legend DJ EZ, breakbeat pioneers Stanton Warriors and plenty more, all pushing forward the sounds that make you cower in the bass bins at the sheer size of the seismic sonic rumble.

The mix comes courtesy of Speakerbox resident Bitr8, providing us with a slick ensemble of upfront garage and house. Sotuhampton reared, the selector also presents the Speakerbox radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio, and represents Speakrbox's commitment to exciting up and coming talent.
