Warehouse Project set for Chems homecoming

1st Sep 2008

The Chemical Brothers are to headline a massive pre-Christmas shindig at the Warehouse Project in Manchester this December.

After weeks of rumours surrounding the special guests due to play on December 13th, organisers have confirmed that Tom and Ed - who met when they both attended the University of Manchester in the early 90s - will return to the city.

Regulars at The Hacienda, the duo burst on to the scene after supporting Oasis at Knebworth with the genre-changing Dig Your Own Hole, which spawned Block Rockin Beats among others.

The Chems DJ set will be supported by a live full set by Simian Mobile Disco, whose members - James Ford and James Anthony Shaw - also went to uni in the city.

To top off a truly Mancunian night, legendary Hacienda DJ Justin Robertson will kick off proceedings, bringing the old school acid house vibe to the Store Street venue.
