Bringing with them two of their heaviest hitters, Renaissance’s next matter event will showcase more sublime tech-house and electro, when Satoshi Tomiie and Dave Seaman headline a night that also features matter favourite Rex the Dog live.
Japan’s Satoshi Tomiie has achieved much in a career that’s spanned twenty years, since emerging with the Frankie Knuckles-endorsed house classic Tears back in 1989. Since then he’s risen to prominence as Japan’s number one DJ and remained resolutely at the cutting edge of underground house and techno, starting his own label Saw recordings and contributing hugely popular mixes to Renaissance and nubreed compilation series.
Both Tomiie and Dave Seaman have both contributed fantastic recent additions to the Renaissance’s Masters compilation series in the past year: Tomiie will be making his second appearance at matter following his debut in February, making light work of the unenviable task of following Tiga and Josh Wink by storming Room 1. Dave Seaman will be making make his venue debut, with live canine capers from Rex the Dog making a welcome return.
