Unseen photos of Beatles on show in London

30th May 2008

An exhibition of rare photographs of the Beatles is to be put on show in London in July.

The images were taken by Michael Ward and Tom Murray and were put on display at the Idea Generation Gallery in east London yesterday (Thursday, May 29th).

The colour pictures taken by Murray were snapped in 1968 during the Beatle's 'Mad Day Out' and were the last official publicity shots of the Liverpool-based group.

Included are shots of the Fab Four on Wapping Pier Head, near Tower Bridge.

They have only been displayed in the UK once before, at a special exhibition which took place in 1999.

They have also never previously been displayed with the earlier pictures of the group taken by Ward in 1963 in the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool.

'Two Days In The Life: The Beatles' will run until June 29th.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18617620-ADNFCR
