Alvin Stardust, confirmed to perform on The Good Time Guide Stage at GuilFest also on Saturday 17th July, is without a doubt one of the UK's most well known singer songwriters.  Alvin shot to stardom in the 70's with 'My Coo Ca Choo' - which became a huge international No.1 hit and spent over six months in the charts.  Numerous hits followed throughout the world, including  'Jealous Mind', 'You, You, You', 'Red Dress', and 'Good Love'.

Indie post-punk rockers, The Young Knives, will be performing on Sunday 18th July on the Main Stage at GuilFest 2010.  Known for their energetic live performances and their taste in tweed outfits, The Young Knives hit the big time with the critical success of the début album ...Are Dead in 2002.  Further national recognition was achieved 3 years later with the release of their hit single ‘The Decision’ in 2005.  Their next two albums achieved top 40 status, and the band was nominated for a Mercury Music prize in 2007.  Since then, The Young Knives have toured the globe, supporting huge acts such as The Kaiser Chiefs. Catch them for the first time at GuilFest this year.

Dance duo of the moment South Central are confirmed to support Sub Focus (dj set) in The Funky End Dance Tent, also on Friday 16th July.  Formed late 2006, and known for a series of 12" bootlegs and a rapid succession of remixes for the likes of Metronomy, Klaxons, The Prodigy and The Whip, South Central have toured with Pendulum and gained regular airplay from the likes of Eddie Temple Morris, John Kennedy, Annie Mac and Pete Tong to name but a few so far in their relatively short, but hugely successful career.

These latest arrivals to the bill will join an already announced line-up of  Orbital, The Human League, Status Quo, N – Dubz, Just Jack, Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Hawkwind, Hadouken!, Chase and Status (DJ set), Level 42, 10cc, The Blockheads, The Blackout, Tinie Tempah, The King Blues, The Twang, Seth Lakeman, Dreadzone, Pama International, Sub Focus (DJ set), Draven, Turbowolf, Chickenhawk, The Wonderstuff, and many, many more.
