Trendsetting London club to celebrate 10 years of debauchery

14th Jul 2008

Rebellious London club AKA is to celebrate its tenth birthday at the end of this month with a massive party headlined by Basement Jaxx.

The little sister of legendary club The End, AKA has forged a reputation for unconventional nights and has been a key player in the electro crossover during the last few years.

As a result, the club's bosses have lined up a DJ set from the Jaxx on July 31st - with Giles Peterson and Fabio also hitting the decks, the latter playing an old school set.

They will also be joined by The Shapeshifters, Luke Soloman, Rob Summerhayes and Chris Woodward.

In the last ten years, the innovative bar - in the heart of the West End of London - has played host to Laurant Garnier, Frankie Knuckles, Little Louie Vega, Erol Alkan and Danny Tenaglia.

Tickets for the night are on sale now.
