Ting Tings bring tour back home

Salford's own chart topping band The Ting Tings are to bring their live show back to the north-west this autumn as part of a national tour.

The duo - Jules De Martino and Katie White - will play gigs in Manchester and Liverpool in September and October to round off a successful year.

Liverpool will play host to the first gig on the tour on September 20th, while Manchester will welcome back the band - who topped the singles chart with That's Not My Name in May - to the Academy 1 venue on October 2nd.

Tickets for the tour – which also takes in venues in London, Birmingham and Sheffield – go on sale today (July 2nd).

Last weekend, The Ting Tings played the John Peel Tent at Glastonbury, in a gig which the Daily Telegraph claimed was a "genuine highlight".
