Tiefschwarz (Basti) @ Sankeys Next Saturday

With Berlin fast becoming the creative hub of the entire continent it is not surprising one iota that is has spawned a huge range of talent, and some of the founders and pioneers of that fertile scene are Germanic brothers Tiefschwarz.  
Ali and Basti Schwarz - brothers and music lovers, created Tiefschwarz out of a passion garnered since 1990 from their first experiences as DJs at the now legendary clubs that Ali ran in Stuttgart "ON -U" (1990 - 1993) and "Red Dog" (1993 - 1997). These experiences and their obsession with the music they were hearing from within and across the German border, encouraged them to make the step from DJ to producer.
Whether dropping ornate Chicago house classics or visceral European modern techno, Tiefschwarz have proved to be one of the most constantly evolving and widely revered house duos of the twenty first century. The name Tiefschwarz stands high alongside other legendary German acts such as Boris Dlugosch, Mousse T., Knee Deep, Ian Pooley, Dixon, Jazzanova, Rainer Trüby, Ata and Vincenzo. As DJs, Tiefschwarz have gained a great reputation on the international house scene and Sankeys welcomes Basti to the club with wide open arms. Expect a session of the finest deepness.
Sankeys’ longest serving resident and one of the club’s integral figures, Greg Vickers, supports, alongside local lads H2.
