It's finally here. After months of waiting, Manchester's legendary clubbing institution The Warehouse Project opens next week with a special launch weekend featuring Maximo Park, Adam Beyer, Basement Jaxx and Felix da Housecat.

The Warehouse Project’s WHP 2010 season is just over a week away with some of the finest international names in all genres of electronic music performing in the underground space underneath Manchester’s Piccadilly Train Station. The fifth anniversary of the underground parties will see an influx of rock, pop and rap acts also take to the stage in front of 2,000 revellers from all over the country.

An unprecedented demand for tickets for The Warehouse Project 2010 has seen several shows selling out already.

Opening night headliners Maximo Park will be providing their typically infectious show, with lead singer and now solo act, Paul Smith bounding around the stage in his tight jeans and hat on Thursday 23rd September. Expect hits “Our Velocity”, “Apply Some Pressure” and “Going Missing” to get the crowd rocking and the season in Manchester finally underway. Chapel Club are also on the bill providing more than admirable support; the band is amassing a host of fans for their big guitar riffs, drum thumping and lead singer, Lewis Bowman’s brooding vocals. Hot electro rockers Metronomy also play live and DJ sets from Now Wave DJs complete the bill. Get tickets for Maximo Park at The Warehouse Project here.

The long weekend will continue on Friday 24th September with some of the finest names in house, techno and electro from Adam Beyer, Steve Lawler and DC10 and WHP resident Jamie Jones. Legendary NYC DJs / producers Wolf & Lamb will be providing the pulsating soundtrack to the night with an unmissable high energy live performance from one of the men of the year, Joris Voorn. Also on the bill is another of the new residents, dubstep’s darling Joy Orbison, and Manchester’s own WHP star, Krysko. Get tickets for Adam Beyer and Steve Lawler at The Warehouse Project here.

Saturday 25th’s sold out WHP event is headlined by one of the world’s most in demand DJ’s and producers – Eric Prydz. Pryda parties have become internationally renowned for the very best in underground techno and house music. Joining Eric on the decks will be the legendary British duo Basement Jaxx – who have been headlining in clubs across the world for over a decade along with producing several albums – and Chicago’s very own DJ and producer, Felix da Housecat. Finalising the Saturday night bill are Greg Lord, Tom Craven and Drop The Mustard.
