The View return with mammoth national jaunt

The View have announced a massive UK your for this autumn to coincide with the release of their first new material for nearly two years.

As the band release new single 5Rebeccas on October 27th, the Dundonians will head off on a 35-date tour, which will combine large and intimate venues across the country.

Starting in Dunfermline on October 16th, the band will play gigs in such places as Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester - at MoHo Live - Brighton, Sheffield and Leeds among many others, with the trip finishing up in their home city of Dundee on November 30th at the Fat Sam's venue.

The band's follow up to the 2007 number one album Hats off to the Buskers is due out before the end of this year - or the start of 2009, according to their management - and is yet untitled.
