Since their emergence from the punk boom in the late seventies, The Undertones are still going strong ramping up a date at London's Clapham Grand on Saturday 9th May.
The Northern Irish band are responsible for a long line of hits stemming from their politically charged music laced with gripping guitar hooks that drew them comparisons with the likes of the Ramones and seen them support The Clash in their earlier days.
Many are acquainted with their revered hit 'Teenage Kicks' (above), which influential Radio 1 DJ John Peel labelled as his favourite record of all time. After serious airplay from the legend himself it has became one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
Alongside the classic smash came their cracking 45's out of EMI's backyard, 'Jimmy Jimmy', 'Here comes the Summer' (above) plus many more that will make their way back onto the live stage where The Undertones will reaffirm their legendary status in the capital. Grab your tickets here.
