The Subways to return to Manchester

3rd Jul 2008

Welwyn Garden City's most famous band The Subways will be bringing their high octane live show back to Manchester later this year as part of another national tour.

The hard-working band - who recently released their second album All or Nothing - will play Manchester Academy 1 for the third time in their career on October 12th.

Following a successful appearance at Glastonbury last weekend, The Subways are due to play both Reading and Leeds festivals in August before heading on the road.

They return to Manchester just four months after playing a raucous gig at at the intimate Academy 3 venue.

Gigs in Leeds - at the Stylus - Birmingham and London are also planned by the trio.

The Subways were nearly forced to call it a day two years ago after lead singer Billy Lunn had throat surgery. It delayed the release of All or Nothing by over two and a half years.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18668250-ADNFCR
