Having rounded off 2012 with a triumphant return to Manchester, Karnival returns to its spiritual home and the venue where it all began for a monthly night of debauchery as it brings its special brand of revelry to the masses.

The Deaf Institute, recently voted Best Venue in Manchester by Manchester Evening News CityLife will have a new monthly party on the first Friday of every month as Karnival begins a residency on Friday 1 March 2013.

Karnival fuses incredible house music and inspired performance to create a night that was described by one Karnival reveller as a nod to the legendary Carry On parties at Manumission Ibiza.

The last Karnival saw the Warehouse Projects longest standing resident DJ and Chief Jukebox; Krysko, take control of the decks for a party that rocked the very foundations of the underground basement club 2022NQ.

Drawing inspiration from groundbreaking South American performance company De La Guarda, Karnival has been branded The Immersive Clubbing Experience which will heighten your clubbing experience so that going out will never be the same again.

Tacet; Karnivals resident DJ and disc jockeying hero will be hosting a series of parties and will be inviting some of his friends to play alongside him on the decks. Each month Tacet will be joined by different exceptional, hand-picked, well-loved DJs and fresh talent.

House music, tech-house and future bass will be played by the finest purveyors of dance music. With of course, Karnivals very own unique team of performers who will be there to make the night even better.

Michael Lever, director and co-founder of Karnival, The Deaf Institute hosted our very first party a couple years ago and its a place very close to our hearts. We are really excited to return and become a regular night at such a great venue. We cant wait to get started!

Karnival...The Residents Party with Tacet and Special Guests starts on Friday 1 March, 10pm till 3am, at The Deaf Institute and runs every first Friday of the month.

Tickets are priced at £5 advance and £6 on the door. For more information and tickets, head to www.skiddle.com.
