Ladies and Gentlemen, the people behind Eclectricity are proud to present the weird and wonderful world of the ELECTRIC CARNIVAL.
On Bank Holiday Sunday 2nd May 2010, half of Digbeth will be sealed off via various public road closures to bring you the must attend event of the summer. For the first time ever this multi venue festival, open to all and not limited to students, will see the likes of Fatboy Slim, Calvin Harris (Live) and Chase & Status (Live), Annie Mac, Dubfire, Tiga & Skream to name but a few. This brand spanking new inner city carnival will be the hottest ticket around.
Never before has Birmingham City Centre experienced such huge acts across several venues on the same evening admissible by the same ticket! A festival main stage is set to be constructed for the first time in the most unique industrial space in Birmingham City Centre, the Digbeth Heath Mill Lane Carpark and in addition to this the entire Custard Factory Arts & Media Quarter will be utilised in conjunction with Air nightclub as well as the quirky Rainbow Complex venues to make for 15 rooms of action packed shenanigans and a capacity of over 9,000.
